Meet Clair
In addition to yoga, Clair is an Outdoor School Educator, weaving ecological literacy and playful exploration into her practice and classes. Clair loves to share yoga because of its innate ability to build awareness and balance; guiding us towards living joyfully while addressing real-world challenges. Her approach reflects a passion and curiosity for nature and cultivating mindfulness in everything.
Since 2014 Clair has been sharing her signature teaching style, "Strong, Slow Hatha Flow". She designs her classes to be adaptable, empowering practitioners to tailor their experience by choosing whether or not to include Vinyasas. This approach creates spaciousness and flexibility for personal exploration and development.
Clair began to study yoga in 2003 and participated in her first yoga teacher training in 2013. A few years later, in 2015, Clair traveled to the Motherland—India—where she immersed herself in Ashtanga yoga, enriched by modern functional movement and yoga therapy principles. Since then she has been blessed to continue her studies with incredible teachers like Suniti, Tiffany Cruikshank, Sarah Joy Marsh and DeAnna Batdorff.
Clair believes that presence is our greatest gift and would love to practice with you! Clairityoga is her vision of a world with unity in diversity and health that is nurtured by movement, breath, mindfulness, music, and creativity.
